Climate justice movements have been engaging in this struggle for decades, and are winning legal, philosophical and cultural victories every day. We must engage with, uplift, and learn the lessons from those who have led the way before us and those who are on the frontlines of resistance and commitment to justice.

Working towards climate justice cannot be an individual endeavour. We must be ambitious, connected, and imaginative in dismantling the structures driving the climate crisis. Being part of a collective movement can also help to lessen the sometimes overwhelming feeling that the climate emergency is “too big” to tackle.

This toolkit section highlights the incredible multitude of creative ambassadors for climate justice from around the world. This work is led by vast networks of grassroots campaigners, community leadership, student protest and new media platforms.
