DRIVING Sustainable International Touring THROUGH COLLABORATION

Following a bumper ITER 4 programme we are thrilled to announce the participants for the fifth edition of the International Touring and Environmental Responsibility (ITER) Programme, commencing in October 2026.

The ITER programme is an initiative from Arts Council England, Creative Scotland, the Danish Arts Foundation, and Arts Council Norway, delivered in partnership with Julie’s Bicycle and in futurum. Structured as free-to-attend interactive seminar series followed by an opportunity to apply for project funding, ITER fosters vital cross-border relationships.

For ITER 5, we are delighted to feature Scotland for the very first time, bringing together artists and organisations from England, Scotland, Denmark, and Norway to develop new, environmentally responsible, inclusive, and equitable approaches to international collaboration.

This year’s edition connects professionals from the performing arts and music sectors across two parallel tracks: a ‘Pathfinder’ programme for those just starting to develop their sustainable touring strategies, and a ‘Changemaker’ programme for pioneers already making fundamental shifts in how art is shared globally.
