University of the Arts London is inviting applications for Storytelling Research Fellowships exploring the role of storytelling in research and creative practice. The fellowships offer an opportunity to develop research while working within UAL’s creative and academic community.

The Climate Fiction Prize celebrates compelling fiction that engages with the climate crisis and imagines possible futures. Writers are invited to submit work for the 2026 prize, which recognises stories that bring climate change to life through powerful, imaginative storytelling.

From protest songs to global anthems, this free event explores how music and creativity can contribute to climate action, taking place as part of the British Science Festival. EVENT: International Forum on the Sustainability of Culture
25-26 September 2026
The International Forum on the Sustainability of Culture brings together cultural practitioners, researchers and organisations to explore the future of sustainable culture, exploring how we can tackle environmental challenges and build more sustainable approaches (with JB’s interim CEO Laura Pando giving a keynote speech!)
