Open call: Nature and place (ireland)

Artists that can work in Ireland are invited to create a temporary public artwork that responds to the rivers and coastline of Dún Laoghire, exploring the relationship between people, nature and place through site-responsive work developed in collaboration with environmental or scientific experts.

RESOURCE: Home of Hope

Home of Hope is a space for collective sharing, learning and solidarity between artists, cultural workers, researchers, community leaders and peacebuilders. It includes an active online community (via WhatsApp), in person events, and a Resource Hub.

Competition: Art & Environment Prize

Deadline: 30 July 2026
Submit your work for the Art & Environment Prize, an international award supporting artists whose practices explore new relationships between creativity, nature and environmental challenges. Open to artists working across all disciplines, the prize offers the selected artist a six-to-eight-week residency in Arles, production support and the opportunity to present their work in an exhibition at Lee Ufan Arles.

Competition: Earth Partner Prize

Deadline: 7 October 2026
Share your creative response to the climate crisis in this international competition celebrating young artists using creativity to explore climate and environmental issues. Open to creatives aged 14–30 worldwide, the prize welcomes work across all mediums to win a cash prize of up to $10,000 while having your work displayed on an international stage.
