Free Climate Training for the Cultural Sector
Creative Climate E-learning is a free, self-guided programme designed to help cultural professionals build climate literacy and confidence.
Across two course modules, we explore the causes of the climate, nature and justice crises, and provide you with frameworks to effect positive and meaningful change, wherever you are.
What You’ll learn
The e-learning programme covers the essentials of creative climate action, including:
- The policies and people-powered movements creating change
- The science behind the climate crisis
- The role of culture in shaping a sustainable and just future
- Key justice concepts: climate justice, environmental justice, and just transition
- How to use carbon footprinting as a practical tool
What You Need to Know
Time: Around 5 hours, self-guided and flexible
Cost: Free of charge
Eligibility: Currently open only to Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs) and Investment Principles Support Organisations (IPSOs), with a wider sector rollout planned for soon
Access: Once registered, it may take up to 14 days to receive your login details
Creative Climate E-Learning is funded by Arts Council England as part of the Environmental Programme 2023–26.
