Elena Marchevska is an interdisciplinary practitioner-researcher, writing extensively on the issues of belonging, the border and intergenerational trauma. Her artistic work explores borders and stories that emerge from living in transition. She is an Associate Professor of Performance studies at London South Bank University.

“Creative climate leadership has an embodied meaning for me. I see this as a being part of a global community of people working towards better forms of human progress by working with nature. I think we need to move away from the idea of managing people and nature, to growing a community of exciting innovation and collaboration. I believe we need to change the story of exponential progress and growth and develop new methods and tools, that will help makers develop regenerative approaches in creative practice.”
