INTRODUCTION

Chiara joined Julie’s Bicycle in 2012. With nearly 15 years of experience working at the culture and climate interface, she is passionate about what it means to decarbonise the arts and creative industries, and how to unlock the untapped power of the whole creative community, from riggers to artists, for climate transformations.

She co-designed Creative Climate Leadership transformation programme for creative changemakers committed to culture-based climate action, delivers consultancy and partnership projects from carbon reduction pathways to cultural policy, and has worked on publications including the Vision for Sustainable Events ‘The Show Must Go On’ report on UK music festival environmental impacts.

She has been part of the Vision for Sustainable Events outdoor events climate action steering group, IMPALA Environmental Sustainability taskforce for independent music companies across Europe, Music Climate Pact working groups, and the Music Declares Emergency and LIVE Green working groups in the UK.

Chiara studied natural sciences at university and has previously worked in cultural PR, live music promotions, and for music and arts festivals.
